A query method, apparatus, system and client for product description. A user can obtain a picture or a video of part of a product by photographing or other means and then extract feature information from the picture or the video, and meanwhile, feature information is extracted from a pre-stored picture or video corresponding to a certain part of a description, or pre-stored feature information is directly called; the feature information is compared to the feature information obtained by the user so as to query a certain part of the product description. By employing the technical solution above, the user can query the product description corresponding to a product merely by means of the picture or video of a certain state or certain part of the product, thereby remarkably improving the efficiency in querying the description content and assisting the user in obtaining information valuable to the user from the product description. |
