PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire in which rigidity in a land portion is ensured and furthermore, heat releasing effect in a tread portion is improved.SOLUTION: There are formed in a tread surface 1, narrow grooves 10 each of which extends in an inclined direction relative to a tire circumferential direction and has groove width W1 smaller than its groove depth D1. At least one end of the narrow groove 10 terminates in a land portion. In at least one of groove wall surfaces 10c facing to the tire circumferential direction of the narrow grooves 10, there is formed an air intake part 11 opening to the tread surface 1. The air intake part 11 is arranged on the terminal end part terminating in the land portion of the narrow grooves 10. When an intersection point of a width center line of the air intake part 11 and a groove width center line is defined as point O, the terminal end point of the air intake part 11 positioned on the width center line of the air intake part 11 is defined as point X, and length center point of the narrow groove positioned on the groove width center line of narrow grooves 10 are defined as point Y when viewing the tread surface in a developed state in plain view, ∠XOY is an acute angle. |
