PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for manufacturing a low VOC content propylene impact resistance copolymer reducing the content level of a volatile organic compound (i.e., VOC) of a polymer and not requiring a subsequent purge process.SOLUTION: A polymerization process comprises: a step of contacting propylene with a catalyst composition comprising a cocatalyst containing Mg, Ti, Al and the like and a substituted phenylene aromatic diester in a first polymerization reactor under polymerization conditions; a step of producing an active propylene-based polymer; a step of contacting the active propylene-based polymer with at least one olefin in a second reactor under polymerization conditions; and a step of producing a propylene impact resistance copolymer comprising the substituted phenylene aromatic diester. |
