<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that recovers a toner containing a large amount of paper powder to a recovery container with an easy and simple configuration, so as to prevent deterioration of developer due to the paper powder.SOLUTION: An imaging unit includes a developing device 40 that supplies toner to an electrostatic latent image formed on the surface of an image carrier to form a toner image, and a waste toner recovery container 15 that recovers waste toner from the developing device 40. The developing device 40 includes a developer carrier 30 that supplies toner to the image carrier, a cleaning blade 35 that recovers the toner remaining on the developer carrier 30, a recovery conveyance mechanism 50 that conveys the recovered toner; and a switching mechanism 60 that allocates the recovered toner conveyed by the recovery conveyance mechanism 50 to the developing device 40 or waste toner recovery container 15 depending on the fluidity of the toner.</p> |
