<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass substrate for an organic EL element, that suppresses protruding of a scattering substance on a surface of a scattering layer provided on a transparent substrate, and causes no problem of non-lighting, without providing a restriction on composition design of mother material glass.SOLUTION: A glass substrate 1 for an organic EL element is constituted of a transparent glass plate 11 and a scattering layer 12 provided on the transparent glass plate 11. The scattering layer 12 includes in a mother material glass 121 a scattering substance 122 having density different from that of the mother material glass 121 by less than 2.0 g/cm.</p> |
