POCKET SQUARE HOLDER

An apparatus is provided for holding pocket squares/handkerchiefs using different folds and configurations. The device includes two panels that can be folded over each other along a single edge and securely held together. A pocket square, inserted into an interior space defined by the folded panels can thus be held in position. Ample space is provided on the device to display monograms, advertisements, or other decorative elements.

1. An apparatus for receiving and holding a pocket square/handkerchief (square) such that a folded square can be maintained in a selected folding configuration when the apparatus is placed within a pocket, the apparatus comprising:
a holder comprising a first panel and a second panel, the first panel and the second panel being at least partially coupled together along a single foldable edge to create an interior area for receiving a folded square when the first panel and the second panel are folded together along the single foldable edge; a magnetic contact associated with the first panel and a magnetic contact associated with the second panel such that when the first panel and the second panel are folded together along the single foldable edge, the magnetic contact in the first panel aligns with and is drawn to the magnetic contact in the second panel; an opening defined along at least one edge of the holder when the first panel and the second panel are folded together along the single foldable edge, the opening configured such that a portion of the folded square can extend beyond the interior area; and wherein at least one of the first panel or second panel is dimensioned to fit securely within a pocket; whereby the folded square is held in the holder and its shape and position are maintained.
