NONAQUEOUS ELECTROLYTE SOLUTION FOR ELECTRICITY STORAGE DEVICES

A nonaqueous electrolyte solution for electricity storage devices, which is used for an electricity storage device that is provided with: a positive electrode; a negative electrode which contains, as a negative electrode active material, lithium titanate that has a ratio of the specific surface area equivalent diameter (DBET) as calculated from the specific surface area measured by the BET method to the crystallite diameter (DX) as calculated using the Scherrer equation from X-ray diffractometry result, namely DBET/DX of 3 or less (μm/μm); and a nonaqueous electrolyte solution which is obtained by dissolving an electrolyte salt into a nonaqueous solvent. This nonaqueous electrolyte solution for electricity storage devices is characterized by containing 0.01-3% by mass of an organic or inorganic compound having an oxalic acid skeleton, and by further containing 0.01-5% by mass of at least one isocyanate compound.
