The present invention relates to an active sound-absorbing device which includes: a hollow housing wherein one lateral side thereof is opened; and a variable sound-absorbing unit inserted and moving inside the housing to control the inner volume of the housing and controlling the aperture ratio of the pores to connect the inside of the housing and the outside. The present invention is able to selectively change the depth and the aperture ratio of the pores of a sound-absorbing plate and the thickness of an air layer in the rear side of the sound-absorbing plate to reduce the installation area of the sound-absorbing device. Therefore, there is an effect for reducing the loss of an interior space.
