A purpose of the present invention is to provide an apparatus for sensing a buried person which identifies a person buried in remains of a building to output a signal for help when a building is collapsed. The apparatus for sensing a buried person includes a collapse detection unit detecting a collapse of a building; a human body detection unit detecting a human body in a building; and a control unit receiving the detected results of the collapse detection unit and the human body detection unit to determine whether a buried person is present inside a building.
