PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information detection device which allows a commodity to be sold at a fair price by preventing erroneous detection when detecting service information from an image picked up by an imaging apparatus.SOLUTION: An information detection device includes: image capture means; symbol detection means; service information detection means; and output means. The image capture means captures an image picked up by an imaging apparatus. The symbol detection means detects preliminarily determined first and second symbols from the image captured by the image capture means. When the first and second symbols are detected by the symbol detection means from the image captured by the image capture means, the service information detection means detects service information existing in a preliminarily determined relative position of the image relative to the first and second symbols. The output means outputs the service information detected by the service information detection means. |
