PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger capable of preventing defective brazing of a portion between a flat plate of a flat hollow body and a spacer.SOLUTION: Both end portions of adjacent flat hollow bodies 2 of a heat exchanger are communicated by through holes 12 of flat plates 10, and communication holes 18 formed on spacers 3 and having the shape agreed with the through holes 12. Upper and lower two tank portions 22 are composed of both end portions of the flat hollow bodies 2 and the spacers 3. Inward projecting portions 25 projecting inward from peripheral edge portions of the communication holes 18 of the spacers 3 and projecting to inner parts of the tank portions 22, are disposed on parts around the through holes 12 of both flat plates 10 of the flat hollow bodies 2. Cut-out portions 26 and 27 are formed on the inward projecting portions 25 of both flat plates 10 from tip projecting edges to peripheral edges of the communication holes 18 of the spacers 3. A lower wall 22a of the lower tank portion 22 is provided with a liquid discharge portion 28 for making the inside of the tank portion 22 communicate with the external, on a position corresponding to the cut-out portion 26 of the flat plate 10. |
