PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of attaining extremely high sebum detergency to sebum stain including fatty acid made into scum in a cleaning fluid.SOLUTION: Provided is a detergency composition for closing comprising: a component (a) of amine oxide having a specified chemical structure in 15 to 50 mass% ; a component (b) of an alkali agent in 3 to 40 mass%; and a component (c) of a metal ion sealing agent in 0 to below 5 mass%, also provided is a detergency composition for clothing comprising, and also provided is a method for cleaning in which water and clothing are contacted.
