PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the range of a defoaming action brought about by a defoaming apparatus for suppressing foam leakage and a deterioration in a work environment by disposing of a large amount of foam produced on treated water within a vessel.SOLUTION: A defoaming apparatus includes: a drive part; a rotating shaft 2 that is rotated by the drive part; a defoaming blade 4 of a hollow structure, which is attached to the rotating shaft 2; and an axial guide device 16 that is mounted below the defoaming blade 4 and that creates an axial flow of the rotating shaft 2 with respect to the defoaming blade 4. |
