PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device which can prevent creases from being formed on a joining part of a sheet.SOLUTION: A joining device includes an emboss roll 1, joining means 2, 3, wrap angle forming means 4, and tension imparting means 5. The wrap angle forming means 4 includes an upstream guide roll 41 provided on an upstream side of the emboss roll 1 and a downstream guide roll 42 provided on a downstream side of the emboss roll 1, and the guide rolls 41, 42 are arranged in such a manner that respective sheets S1-S3 form prescribed wrap angles and travel by making contact with the emboss roll 1. The tension imparting means 5 includes a pair of upstream facing rolls 5a which are provided on an upstream side of the upstream guide roll 41 and rotate by sandwiching the sheets S1-S3 and a pair of downstream facing rolls 5b which are provided on a downstream side of the downstream guide roll 42 and rotate by sandwiching the sheets S1-S3. |
