PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately simulate a processed shape of a work material to be cutting processed by a two-axis cutting machine on a computer.SOLUTION: A simulation device 50 comprises: position calculation means 61 for calculating the movement of the position of a cutting blade according to time t in a coordinate system having a first coordinate axis, a second coordinate axis, and a third coordinate axis each of which is orthogonal to each other and the origin of which is a rotation center of a work material and having the axis direction of the work material being the third coordinate axis by using a value x of the first coordinate axis, a value y of the second coordinate axis, and a value z of the third coordinate axis of a model equation of the cutting operation of a two-axis cutting machine; shape calculation means 62 for calculating the processed shape of the work material by simulating cutting of the work material by the cutting blade on the basis of the movement of the position of the cutting blade calculated by the position calculation means and a condition of the model equation; and data generation means 63 for generating image data representing the processed shape of the work material calculated by the shape calculation means.
