There are provided a wireless communication terminal and a method for supplying power thereof. The wireless communication terminal includes a main battery, an auxiliary battery and a controller. The main battery is attachably/detachably coupled to the terminal to supply power to the terminal. The auxiliary battery is built in the terminal. The controller supplies power to the terminal, using the auxiliary battery, when the main battery is separated from the terminal or when the main battery is discharged. In the wireless communication terminal, the main battery is a high-power and high-capacity battery, and the auxiliary battery is a low-power and low-capacity battery. |
