<p>Provided is a display control device that can suppress temperature increases in a display panel by controlling current values flowing in pixel circuits and can suppress changes in image quality. A display control device that supplies a gradient signal, according to image data, to a light-emitting panel in which a plurality of pixels each having light-emitting elements is arranged in two dimensions and makes image information be displayed on the light-emitting panel is provided with: a calculation circuit for finding an average of image data; a calculation circuit for finding a predicted value for current flowing in common electrodes in the light-emitting panel from the average of the image data; a calculation circuit for finding an actual value for current flowing in the common electrodes when the light-emitting elements are emitting light; a calculation circuit for comparing the predicted value and actual value; and a correction circuit for correcting, according to the results of comparison, the gradient signal according to the image data.</p> |
