The present invention relates to a contact dermatitis preventing or treating pharmaceutical composition, a skin external application agent, a cosmetic composition, and a health functional food, wherein an eriodictyol compound or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt of the same is contained as an active ingredient. More specifically, the eriodictyol or pharmaceutically acceptable salt of the same of the present invention has shown an effect in inhibiting the generation of IgE in contact dermatitis caused by a delayed-type hypersensitivity reaction antigen (2,4-dinitrochlorobenzene, DNCB). For the epithelium, corium, and overall skin increased by means of DNCB, scratching, skin functions, and skin thickness can be reduced. Accordingly, the same can be usefully used. |
