The method involves band pass filtering a received signal, and determining values of power spectrum density of filtered received signals during difference in frequency of the filtered received signals caused by difference between frequencies of a transmitter. The values of the density are compared with a threshold value during difference in the frequencies of the filtered received signals. A signal for controlling the received signal is activated at an output of a comparator when the values of the density are smaller than the threshold value. An independent claim is also included for a device for producing a signal comprising a band pass filter for band pass filtering a received signal.
