<p>A seal assembly (150, 190, 350, 550) can be incorporated into a track pin joint assembly (44) including a pin (90) defining a longitudinal axis (LA), a first member (94, 98) and a second member (92, 94) both coaxial with the pin (90) about the longitudinal axis (LA). The first member (94, 98) is pivotable about the longitudinal axis (LA) with respect to the second member (92, 94) and includes a load ring engagement surface (130, 170) defining, at least in part, an axially-extending seal cavity (128, 168) disposed in proximal relationship to the second member (92, 94). A seal assembly (150, 190, 350, 550) including a seal ring (154, 194, 354, 554) and a load ring (152, 192, 352, 552) is disposed in the seal cavity (128, 168) and sealingly engages the first member (94, 98) and the second member (92, 94). The load ring (152, 192, 352, 552) includes a main body (220) and a neck (222) having a neck perimeter (250) with a first sealing blade (260) disposed along the neck perimeter (250) and comprising an outwardly-extending projection. The first sealing blade (260) is adapted to sealingly engage one of the seal ring (154, 194, 354, 554) and the first member (94, 98).</p> |
