<p>A controller (100) causes an electronic component (B) to be moved by a head unit (170) so that a tip of a lead terminal (L) of the electronic component (B) matches a terminal insertion hole (SK), which is an insertion location on a plate (P) (FIG. 7A). Then, the controller (100), in order to insert the lead terminal (L) into the terminal insertion hole (SK), controls a Z-axis servomechanism so that a clamp head (185) is operated so as to be lowered in a vertical downward direction (Z-direction) above a base platform (10) (FIG. 7B). The controller (100), if a determination is made that the clamp head (185) has been lowered to a height at which the lead terminal (L) is to be inserted into the terminal insertion hole (SK), controls a vacuum motor so as to release hold of the electronic component (B) (FIG. 7C). Then, the controller (100), while the release of the hold of the electronic component (B) is maintained, lowers the clamp head (185) so as to press the electronic component (B) into the plate (P) (FIG. 7D).</p> |
