The present invention provides a preheating apparatus for liquid fuel in an apparatus using liquid fuel such as diesel or the like. The preheating apparatus of the present invention comprises: a fuel supply pipe (24) installed by penetrating a cover (20) installed in a fuel tank; a filter (30) installed in a lower end portion of the fuel supply pipe (24) to filter a supplied liquid fuel; a heater (50) installed inside the filter to preheat the liquid fuel; and a bimetal sensor (50) shutting off power by detecting overheating from the heater. The bimetal sensor (50) is installed inside a lower cover (40) of the filter (30).
