<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform abnormality detection of a peeling device without adding a new configuration and prevent a reduction in usability after the abnormality detection.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes a heating roller 202 that includes a heater 201, a pressure roller 203 that is brought into pressure contact with the heating roller 202, and a sheet peeling device that sprays compressed air between the heating roller 202 and a sheet ejected from a nip part formed by the heating roller 202 and pressure roller 203 to peel the sheet from the heating roller 202. When detecting abnormality of the sheet peeling device, a CPU 306 determines the execution or stoppage of a print job on the basis of the thickness of a sheet used in the print job.</p> |
