This vehicle-door control device is provided with a controller that controls the actuation of a drive device. Said controller is configured so as to supply, to an electromagnetic clutch, drive power based on a voltage from an in-vehicle power supply. The controller is also configured such that, when stopping the door at an intermediate position, the drive power based on the voltage from the in-vehicle power supply is supplied to the electromagnetic clutch so as to engage same, and when a prescribed holding duration has elapsed subsequent to the door being stopped at the aforementioned intermediate position, the supply of drive power to the electromagnetic clutch is stopped so as to disengage same. The aforementioned holding duration differs depending on whether it was detected that a foreign object is caught in the door or a user action to open or close the door was detected.
