An embodiment of the present invention relates to an active material, a method for producing the same, a non-aqueous electrolyte battery, and an battery pack. Provided are an active material which can control increase in resistance, a method for producing the same, a non-aqueous electrolyte battery, and a battery pack. According to an embodiment, provided is an active material including lithium titanium complex oxide. The lithium titanium complex oxide includes a lithium compound composed of at least one among lithium carbonate and lithium hydroxide. The lithium concentration of the lithium compound is 0.017 wt% or more and 0.073 wt% or less. |
