PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood vessel improving agent which contains as an active ingredient an elastin peptide extracted from a bulbus arteriosus of fishes.SOLUTION: A blood vessel improving agent contains as an active ingredient an elastin peptide extracted from a bulbus arteriosus of fishes. The total content of glycine, alanine, valine, and proline per 1000 residues is 650 residues or more. The total content of aspartic acid and asparagine is 10-35 residues. The total content of glutamic acid and glutamine is 20-50 residues. The total content of lysine, histidine, and arginine is 20-50 residues. The total content of desmosine and isodesmosine is 0.3 residues or more. The content of hydroxyproline is 10 residues or less. |
