<p>A remote PTT communication method and a remote PTT communication system are disclosed. The remote PTT communication method for point-to-point or point-to-multipoint voice transmission/reception between a mobile terminal paired with a headset via Bluetooth and at least one external terminal comprises the steps of: storing, by the mobile terminal, an application program which provides a PTT function and executing the application program; pressing, by the headset, a PTT button integrated with the headset and generating a pressing signal when the PTT button is kept pressed; transmitting, by the headset, the pressing signal to the mobile terminal; when the mobile terminal receives the pressing signal, operating the mobile terminal in a transmission mode; receiving, by the headset, a voice signal input while the PTT button is kept pressed and transferring the voice signal to the mobile terminal; transmitting, by the mobile terminal, the transferred voice signal to at least one external terminal; when the pressed PTT button is released, generating, by the headset, a release signal and transmitting the release signal to the mobile terminal; when the mobile terminal receives the release signal, operating the mobile terminal in a voice reception mode; receiving, by the mobile terminal, a voice signal from the at least one external terminal and transferring the voice signal to the headset; and outputting, by the headset, the voice signal. Accordingly, by providing a headset paired with a mobile terminal via Bluetooth and having a PTT device combined therewith, not only can the Bluetooth handsfree be provided to a user, but also the cost of having a number of devices can be reduced.</p> |
