PARTIAL CRIMPING DEVICE AND METHOD OF USING THE SAME

<p>A crimping device having a pair of crimping posts operatively connected to a frame such that the posts may rotate to a generally vertical position where the posts are in spaced parallel relation to one another. In the vertical position the posts pinch a rope of food product such that emulsion is pushed away from the posts without cutting the casing. The result of the pinching are partially crimped segments that do not close all the way.</p>
