<p>A drainage catheter system is provided having a hub engagement to a needle coaxially positionable within a catheter. The hub being engaged to an interface having a side outlet for a drainage tube leading to a collection vessel isolates the movement and force of engagement collection vessels from the patient. A needle may be reinserted through the device without removing the drainage tube should repositioning be necessary.</p> |
