<p>The present invention relates to a novel biomarker for prion diseases and a use of the same. The marker of the present invention is used in rapid and accurate diagnosis and progonostic analysis of prion diseases. According to an embodiment of the present invention, provided in the present invention is a kit for diagnosing prion diseases including antibody or aptamer for pentraxin 3 (PTX3). The kit is a prion disease diagnosing kit which is characterized by being a kit for immunoassay.</p>
