<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical waveguide capable of readily detecting a positional deviation between a core pattern and a patterned upper clad layer.SOLUTION: An optical waveguide includes on a first clad layer: a first core pattern having a refractive index higher than that of the first clad layer; a second core pattern having a refractive index lower than that of the first core pattern and higher than that of the clad layer; and a patterned second clad layer covering the upper surface and the side surface of the first core pattern.</p> |
