<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device capable of properly switching power transmission between a power source and a drive object.SOLUTION: An upper stage side tray 56 is slid and displaced by the power of a motor 40. A gear 46 is displaced between a position (power transmission position) meshed with, and a position (power cutting position) separated from a gear 47. In a state where a carriage 29 releases a state where the gear 46 is positioned at an engagement position, a control part 70 for controlling the motor 40 performs an intermittent rotation control mode for controlling the motor 40 so that the gear 46 is intermittently rotated in a second direction opposite a first direction which is a rotation direction in which the upper stage side tray 56 is moved to a butting position.</p> |
