The present invention comprises: dissolving orotic acid in a high-concentration carnitine solution to prepare a high -concentration orotic acid solution which contains 1.2 to 25mass% of orotic acid and 1.44 to 80mass% of carnitine at an orotic acid/carnitine mass ratio of 1:1.2 to 1:10; and adding this high-concentration orotic acid solution to a drink. Thus, the present invention makes it possible to produce: a high -concentration orotic acid solution which exhibits excellent solubility of orotic acid and excellent storage stability though the solution contains orotic acid in a high concentration; and an orotic acid-containing drink in which orotic acid is well dissolved even in a case where orotic acid is blended in a high concentration and which suffers neither from deposition or precipitation during storage nor from deterioration in the taste or flavor inherent in a drink.
