<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously transmit the same data to a plurality of transmission destinations with a simple mechanism and to facilitate function expansion by using a plurality of image processors having a communication function.SOLUTION: A data transmission system comprises a plurality of compound machines 1A to 1C which can transmit data to external devices 10A to 10 N, and a portable terminal 2 communicable with the plurality of compound machines through a network 3. The portable terminal 2 registers destinations of the plurality of external devices to which data should be transmitted, and the plurality of compound machines for instructing data transmission, distributes the plurality of registered destinations to the respective compound machines, and transmits a command of a transmission instruction together with each distributed destination and data for transmission to the respective compound machines. When receiving the command together with the respective destinations and the data for transmission from the portable terminal 2, the respective compound machines 1A to 1C translate the command, and transmit the received data to the external devices 10A to 10 N of the respective destinations according to the transmission instruction.</p> |
