Provided is a snap-on cap for a vial that allows a protective cover to be removed from a cap body with a stable removing force and makes it difficult for the protective cover to be reattached to the cap body once removed. A cap body (5) and a protective cover (6) are integrally formed by means of an insert-molding method or two-color molding method in order to cause an appropriate adhesive force to be created therebetween. In addition, an annular protrusion section (12, 13) having a concave section (14) formed on the outer circumferential surface thereof is provided on the cap body (5), and an engagement section (18) for engaging with the concave section (14) is provided on the protective cover (6), thereby enabling the protective cover (6) to be easily removed from the cap body (5) with good operating feel yet preventing the protective cover (6) from accidentally coming off. Alternatively, protrusions (23) provided on a top plate section of the cap body (5) are caused to bite into a plug body (4) in order to prevent the cap (1) from turning. |
