<p>An embodiment of the present invention provides a method for adding friends, comprising: in response to a trigger event that a first user adds a second user as a friend, obtaining a second user account; judging whether the obtained second user account satisfies a verification-free condition or not; if so, adding the second user as the friend; and if not, sending to a server side a verification request for adding the second user as the friend. When the second user account satisfies the verification-free condition, the second user is directly added as the friend without the need to wait for the verification from the second user, thereby reducing intermediate links, improving efficiency and bringing better experience to users. Also provided in the embodiment of the present invention is an apparatus for adding friends.</p> |
