<p>The present disclosure describes an example method for managing status of a port of a switch in a Software Defined Network (SDN).The SDN comprises a controller and a switch having a port. With this method,an indicator of a count of changes to the status of the port of the switch is determined.A status reporting message is, based on the indicator, selectively sent to the controller indicating the status of the port of the switch.</p> |
