<p>Abstract A lid for sealing a cartridge containing an adhesive, sealer, filler or the like, the lid including: a round section (D) with an internal thread (B) adapted to cooperate with a threaded neck section of the cartridge; and an internal configuration (A), suitably in the shape of a cone, which forces air out of the cartridge upon application of the lid. The lid may optionally be provided with a flat rigid section (C) including a plurality of mounting holes for mounting the lid on a convenient surface, such as for storage purposes.
