<p>Dyes giving fast red shades on textile materials and esp. suitable for aromatic polyesters, cellulose acetates and polyamides, have formula (I):- (in which A is alkylene, R1 is a formyloxy, alkyl carbonyloxy or alkoxy carbonyloxy group; R2 is a formyloxy, or alkoxy carbonyloxy group, or if R1 is one of these, R2 may also be an alkyl carbonyl oxy group; R3 is a formyl group, and if R2 is an alkyl carbonyl oxy group, R3 may also be an alkyl carbonyl or alkoxy carbonyl group; X is chlorine or bromine). The are made by diazotising 2-halogen 4-nitroaniline and coupling with the appropriate amine.</p> |
