A mechanical drawing learning method according to the present invention includes a step in which segments of a plurality of 2D drawings are extracted so that the 2D drawings form a database, relationships between the segments are digitized for histogram storage, and a database is established by storing 3D isometric drawings matching the 2D drawings; a step in which images of the 2D drawings to be learned are sensed and turned into image data for comparison to the histograms of the database; a step in which the image data of the learning drawings are turned into histograms; a step in which the histograms of the learning drawings are compared to the histograms of the database for comparison and search of the most similar histogram; and a step in which the 3D isometric drawing matching the most similar histogram is provided. According to the present invention, three-dimensional models matching a projection drawing can be provided in real time, and thus mechanical drawing learning efficiency can be increased and a learner′s immersion and interest can be increased while a teacher can provide education for various drawings at a low cost.
