<p>The present invention provides primer sets for detecting potato virus T and a kit for detecting potato virus T comprising the same. The primer sets for detecting potato virus T of the present invention can detect potato virus T with high sensitivity in early stage even if trace amounts of virus or viral nucleic acid exists by using nucleotide sequences specifically binding to the virus. The present invention provides a method for detecting potato virus T, and if using the detection method of the present invention, the detection limit is at least 1,000 times higher than the detection method using the existing antiserum, thereby being able to be very useful for quarantine of imported plants.</p> |
