<p>The present invention relates to a lost article management device, and more specifically, a method for providing a lost-and-found service which searches lost articles using human networking of passengers who are related to a transportation means and a lost article such as those who lose or acquire articles, use the same transportation means at the same time, before or after the during the operation of the transportation. The present invention is characterized by including: a lost article data input step where lost article data from lost article report data or lost article acquisition data inputted by a user who uses a certain transportation means or a manager who operates the transportation means is stored in a database; an operation data extraction step which extracts the general data and the operation data of the transportation means relates to the lost article data through an operation means data processing unit; and a related passenger data extraction step which extracts data about related passengers who use the transportation means related to the operation data of the transportation means through a related passenger data processing unit.
