<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display unit capable of suppressing the change of power consumption and allowing a charging device connected to the unit to correctly determine whether the unit is used or not. <P>SOLUTION: An image display unit to be connectable as an object unit to a charging device which performs charging on the basis of the power consumption of the object unit includes: an image display device 1; a speaker 2; luminance and volume control means 3 for controlling the display luminance of the image display device 1 and the reproduction volume of the speaker; reference value setting means 4 for acquiring the threshold of the power consumption for the determination of presence/absence of charging from the charging device, and setting a value where a predetermined value is added to the threshold as a reference value; comparison means 6 for calculating the power consumption of the unit on the basis of the display luminance and reproduction volume, and comparing it with the reference value; and power consumption means 7 for consuming power equal to or larger than a difference when the power consumption is less than the reference value in the comparison means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
