<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging device that prevents the occurrence of deflection, distortion, and deformation on a grid; keeps a constant interval between the outer peripheral surface of a photoconductor drum and the grid through the entire range of the grid; and prevents the occurrence of charging unevenness on the outer peripheral surface of the photoconductor drum, as well as an image forming apparatus, and a manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: A grid case 13 having a grid 27 is externally fitted to a box-shaped accommodating member 12 that accommodates a discharge electrode so that the side wall of the accommodating member 12 and the grid case 13 are held in a contact state, thereby preventing the occurrence of deflection, distortion, and deformation of the grid case 13 and the grid 27. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
