<p>The present invention relates to a food waste treating apparatus which has a plurality of food waste treating containers to treat food waste inside in a main body; a plurality of agitators which agitate microorganisms and food waste in the food waste treating container and are installed respectively in the food waste treating container and rotated by a motor; and a plurality of opening and closing plates which open and close respectively upper opening parts on the plurality of food waste treating containers and are installed on the upper part of the main body to be rotated, and to a controlling method thereof. In the present invention, food waste can be treated in the food waste treating container for a sufficient period of time by the microorganisms, thereby enabling the apparatus to easily treat and collect food waste with the use of microorganisms.</p> |
