<p>The mill comprises two rows of vertically mounted bobbins driven by an endless band, and supplying associated rows of horizontally mounted pulleys with twisted yarn via reciprocating thread guides. A pulley of the driven band is driven from a main drive shaft via a gear train and worm gear, and the horizontally mounted bobbins are driven by frictional contact with rotating rods driven via a second gear train by the worm gear. The thread guides are reciprocated by followers engaging in a helical groove of a drum which is driven by the main drive shafts.</p> |
