A hot-runner injection moulding tool with a branched runner system provided between an entry 1 and a plurality of injection nozzles 2, the lengths of the runners between the entry and the individual injection nozzles being equal, is characterized in that the branches, 3 and 4, are distributed over at least two planes I and II, each plane only having branches of the same order so that the flow velocity of the injection material is uniform throughout the system. The plastics material passes from branches 3 through the connecting runners 5, which are perpendicular to the branches, and then in a uniform way into the branches 4 arranged in the form of stars. The moulding tool may be in the form of a multiple tool having one or more gates per moulding or a single tool having a plurality of gates for one moulding.</p> |
