A bleed system comprises a bleed inter-compressor (106) fluidly coupled to a low pressure port (102) of the bleed system and configured to utilize a portion of a medium received from the low pressure port (102) to increase the pressure of another portion of that medium. A turbine (222) of the bleed inter-compressor (106) is coupled to a compressor (220) of the bleed inter-compressor (106) and drives the compressor (220) via a shaft (223), so as to regulate the pressure of the medium. |
