<p>The present invention relates to a terminal and a server for providing a notification service and an operation method thereof, and a computer-readable recording medium with a computer program recorded therefor, which provide the notification service allowing an acquaintance of a user to know where the user is located by transmitting, to a terminal of the acquaintance, every location selected by the user who is on the way to a destination set on a navigation device. According to the present invention, it is possible for the acquaintance to conveniently perceive the locations of the user without telephoning the user to check where the user is located since notification messages about preset points where the user is located are automatically transmitted to the acquaintance according to a notification condition setting on the navigation device whenever the user arrives at the points before reaching the destination. Also, the user can avoid accidents while moving since the user does not have to get talking on the phone.</p> |
