<p>A control system calculates heating switch on time prior to a users desired time. A central heating system, has a control module for switching the heating system between on and off modes in response to signals at a transceiver. A user selects a desired time, preferably via an internet enabled device, at which they wish the dwelling to be heated. Using stored information the control module determines a time period for the central heating system to be on to have the dwelling heated by the desired time. An advanced time is then calculated to precede the desired time by the time period. The transceiver then turns the heating system on at the advanced time. The internet enabled device may be a smartphone, tablet or computer to allow remote control and thereby provide active management. Preferably compatible with heating zones. Temperature can preferably be controlled via i-pad. I-pad may additionally display stored information such as a users appointments or web-based information such as public holidays and tariffs.</p> |
